Poppy play this Sunday

POPPY--PLAY.jpgA group of actors will be staging readings about World War One at the Drayton Arms, Chelsea, to mark Remembrance Sunday.

For King and Country, based on an anthology by Brian MacArthur, features poems, letters and newspaper articles that trace the course of the Great War.

All the proceeds go to the Poppy Appeal and entrance is a minimum donation of £7.

Performances at the Old Brompton Road pub are at 6pm on Sunday and 8pm on Monday.
