Sharing fun and games in Kensington and Chelsea

unmod.jpgThe vivid imagination and creativity of a Chelsea schoolboy has been brought to life on a unique community site.

From experimenting with software in September 2005 to start Unmod, Dylan Maryk has come a long way, and now manages a sprawling site that offers interactive games, original art work, animations, poems by his friends and family photos.

The 13-year-old whiz kid makes his 'funny little videos' of his take on the world in his bedroom - often featuring his little sister Avalon - and updates the site religiously, with bigger features every Tuesday and more content on a Saturday.

He said: "I wanted my own personal space and world that people could come to. If people are online and a bit bored, I want them to come and have a look to see what they can find. There are lots of pages, so you are never going to see it all in one go."

Next Dylan wants to boost the community of Unmod, create more user-generated content and a populate a thriving chat room.
