TEN fire engines and around 50 firefighters tackled a blaze at a laundrette in Dalgarno Gardens, North Kensington, in the early hours of Friday morning.
The brigade was called at 2.12am to reports that a single-storey building was alight.
PROTESTERS targeted crowds at the Chelsea Flower Show to gain support for their fight against the proposed development at the former Chelsea Barracks site.
Holding placards, they gathered outside the famous event last week in a bid to rally green-fingered visitors against the massive residential development planned for the former military site, in Chelsea Bridge Road, opposite the flower show.

Six men, including a Notting Hill resident, were arrested yesterday as part of ongoing investigation into violent demonstrations around the Israeli embassy in Kensington.
