Blaze blasts North Kensington laundrette

TEN fire engines and around 50 firefighters tackled a blaze at a laundrette in Dalgarno Gardens, North Kensington, in the early hours of Friday morning.

The brigade was called at 2.12am to reports that a single-storey building was alight.

Firefighters from North Kensington, Kensington, Hilligdon, Paddington, Hammersmith, Park Royal and Willesden fire stations fought to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
