A woman pedestrian who died in a collision with a Porsche has been named.

German au pair Kristina Sporbeck, 20, was killed after an accident with a Porsche Cayenne in Knightsbridge, Kensington, on Monday night, at around 10pm. She had been staying at the nearby Carlton Tower Hotel in Cadogan Place.

Motorbike gangs smash shops

Motorbike gangs targeted targeted two Chelsea shops in just over 24 hours at the weekend.

At 1am on Saturday, four motorbike riders attempted to rob Theo Fennell jewellers in Fulham Road.

Colville contenders chosen

The candidates who will contest the Colville ward council seat following the resignation of Cllr Marianne Alapini have been announced.

The Labour-held seat will be subject to a by-election on July 22.

The winners of the Chelsea Art Society awards have been announced.

Following an inspiring exhibition at Chelsea Old Town Hall, in King's Road, talented artists have triumphed in the 62nd annual competition.

The Conservative party had a run away victory amongst voters in Kensington and Chelsea.

Among the 26,817 borough votes cast in last week's European election, 12,940 went to the Tories.

TWENTY FIVE people were forced out of their homes as fire fighters fought to stop a blaze spreading from a 5th floor flat in Fawcett Street, Chelsea, last night.

Six fire engines and around thirty firefighters rushed to the scene to deal with the fire, which hit just before 9pm.
