Child escapes Earl's Court flat fire

A child and two adults escaped a fire in Earl's Court early this morning.

They left the burning five-storey building, in Warwick Road, just before 3am.

AN INDEPENDENT rail watchdog could consider legal action against London Underground after trains crossed danger signals three times around High Street Kensington.

This afternoon, the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR) confirmed it has sent a letter to London Underground(LU) relating to its reaction to incidents on the District Line at West Kensington, Earl's Court and around the High Street in February and March this year.

Looks like its set to be another record GCSE results year but many school leavers are still considering exactly what path to take this coming year.

Millions of pounds worth of gems were stolen in less than a minute, during a daring daylight raid on a Knightsbridge jewellers.

According to sources, more than £1million of gems, including a £500,000 diamond necklace, were stolen at the Mozafarian store last Wednesday, August 19.

A TEENAGER was stabbed in Bridge Close, North Kensington, last night.

The youngster, thought to be in his late teens, was taken to hospital after police were called to Prospect House at 8.30pm.
