A personal trainer from North Kensington is set to appear on a TV gameshow on Christmas Day.

On December 25, Sarah Colbourne, 37, of Shrewsbury Street, will try to win up to £1,000,000 on the channel 5 show Heads or Tails.

Free Christmas tree recycling is on offer to residents of the Royal Borough this year.

Between 4 and 17 January, residents can recycle their Christmas trees by leaving them on pavement, next to the kerb, but only on their designated collection day.

Boris Johnson visited North Kensington on Dec 3 to hear Kensington and Chelsea Council's case for a new Crossrail station.

The Council is putting its full weight behind proposals for a Crossrail station as thousands of new homes and jobs will be created in a deprived part of North Kensington if plans get the green light.
