Life expectancy rate is the highest in Kensington and Chelsea

BOROUGH: People living in Kensington and Chelsea have the highest life expectancy rate in the country.

A new report out by the Office of National Statistics found that their life expectancy at birth is 88.9 years for a woman and 84.3 years for a man.

These figures compare with the lowest life expectancy area - Glasgow - with just 70.7 for a man.

People living in Westminster came second for both sexes with the female life expectancy at 85.9 and the male at 82.9.
