Palm Sunday candlelit performance of St John Passion
A special Easter performance of St John Passion will take place on Palm Sunday.
The candlelit event will be held at St Mary Abbot's Church, Kensington High Street, on Sunday March 28 at 6.30pm.
The performers aim to recreate the intimate scale of Johann Sebastian Bach's original performance in April 1724 in Leipzig.
The professional choir of St Mary Abbots will be joined by soloists, a 20-piece Purcell Orchestra will be conducted by professor Mark Uglow.
Tickets are £15 or £7.50 for the under 16s and include refreshments.
