Football Community Cup to kick off

The Kensington and Chelsea Community Cup Kicks off on Saturday July 23 at the Westway Sports Centre, where amateur football teams from across the borough will be hoping to be crowned champions.

Now in its sixth year, the Community Cup has become an established and popular event attracting interest from players and supporters from all around.

The tournament was first introduced back in 2006 by police who wanted bring officers and youngsters closer.

It kicks off at the sports centre in Crowthorne Road, North Kensington at 11am on Saturday.

Entry is free, and doors open at 10am.
