War Horse exhibition opens
Original costumes and props from the new War Horse film are going on display for the first time at the National Army Museum in Chelsea.

To tie in with the release of the film nationwide, Steven Spielberg and the cast of the movie took time out during its London premier to decorate and name paper horses, which are being put on the exhibition's Remembrance Wall to commemorate war's forgotten horses.
These paper horses, along with others decorated by the Duchess of Cornwall and author Michael Morpurgo, will take pride of place in the War Horse: Fact and Fiction exhibition which starts on Friday (13).
Exhibition curator Pip Dodd said: "We are delighted to be able to include original material from the Disney Dreamworks film.
"It has been fascinating looking at how accurately the replicas of military items have been created using modern materials such as plastic, while retaining a really authentic look."
Among the other items going on display are the costume worn by Sherlock Holmes actor Benedict Cumberbatch, and book illustrations by equine artist Ali Bannister.
The celebrity-decorated horses will later be auctioned to raise money for the museum's redevelopment and for animal welfare charity the Brooke.
This family-friendly exhibition is due to run until August 30, and for more information, visit www.nam.ac.uk or call 020 7730 0717.
