RESIDENTS living in Courtfield and Pembridge wards will be able to meet their community officers at special drop in clinics this month.

The police community teams will be on hand to answer any questions about local policing issues, provide crime prevention advice as well as marking bikes and other property for free.

A storytelling event with joins up nine schools in the borough will be visited by the country's first storytelling laureate.

The Everyday Magic event will be hosted at Saint Mary's Primary School, East Row, Kensington, and at 2pm the pioneering storyteller Taffy Thomas MBE will visit.

A practitioner of Christian Science healing with be travelling from Germany for a special talk this month.

Frank Prinz-Wondollek will present the talk The Spiritual Basis of True Freedom on Tuesday March 23.

The free talk starts at 7.30pm in the Campden Suite,(CORR) Kensington Close Hotel, Wrights Lane.

Two concerts in aid of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital will be held this week.

Doctors and medical staff playing in the Imperial College of Medicine Society will put on the Spring concerts at St Stephen's Church, Gloucester Road.

NOTTING HILL: The Znaniye Russian School is opening a new branch to offer classes on Sunday.

They will be officially launching with an open day on Sunday March 21 at David Game House, 69 Notting Hill Gate, between 2.30pm and 6pm.

The day will involve consultations with child psychologists and speech therapists as well as art, drama and dance workshops and free Russian lessons will be on offer for children.

The new school will offer classes on Sundays between 2pm and 6pm every week.

EARL'S COURT: Thousands of travel lovers are expected to flock to the free TNT Travel Show on Saturday March 15 where 50 per cent deals will be on offer.

Visitors will be able to talk to experts about the best places to go and get advice about the cheapest deals.

The event is free at the Ibis Hotel, Earl's Court, from 9.30 until 6pm and will feature adventure, backpacking, festivals, round the world journeys as well as mini breaks.

NOTTING HILL: A discussion about the practical and spiritual healthcare benefits of Christian healing will take place this Easter.

The Easter Promise of Christian Healing will take place on Saturday March 27 where teacher and practitioner Maria Greenwood will discuss the healthcare benefits.

The free talk will take place at 3pm at the Second Church of Christ Scientist, 104 Palace Gardens Terrace, Notting Hill.

A special Easter performance of St John Passion will take place on Palm Sunday.

The renowned Schola Cantorum of the Cardinal Vaghan Memorial School will join the Belgravia Chamber Orchester for a performance next month.

They will perform of Bach's St John Passion.

It will feature acclaimed soloist Nicholas Mulroy as the Evangalist and Nicholas Warden as Christus.

It will take place on Tuesday March 23 at 7.30pm at Our Lay of Victories Church in High Street Kensington.

Tickets are £12 and available from the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School.

BOROUGH: A family fun Scottish dancing event is planned for residents in the borough next month.

The event will take place on Saturday March 27 at St Columba's Church Hall in Pont Street, Chelsea.

Classes will be held at 11.30 and 2pm hosted by the Royal Scottish County Dance Association London Branch.

Admission is £2.50 for a class, £1 for lunch, or the whole day is £5 and beginners are welcome.
